Question by alpinestar: Can a dried lima bean still produce a lima bean plant?
I am doing an experiment for my science class and I want to make sure it will work. I am placing dried lima beans onto a damp paper towel and leaving them out in the sun, no soil. This will work, correct?
How long will these take to germinate?

the sun will dry the paper towel out in mins.,,,wrap the bean in a wet paper towel and keep it damp and in a dark place,,,bean seeds do not need light to sprout,it would speed up the process if u soaked the seed over nite in warm h20,,ck it every day
