How would one use a natal chart created from the perspective of a different planet?
Question by Sidereal Sagittarius Erectus: How would one use a natal chart created from the perspective of a different planet?
ie. A natal chart as seen from Venus, for example.
I’m reviewing a software that creates natal charts from the perspective of several other planets.
The example given is Elizabeth Taylor’s chart from the perspective of Venus (from Venus her chart has a kite that overlays a box pattern…)
It’s interesting, but what would one use the different perspective for?

I don’t see how a person would find that of any use. It’s irrelevant since one could equally say that the perspective of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune would then be taken into account. How would one ever come to any concrete conclusions from scattering out the perspectives to that extent?

I’m not sure if this is actually related, but your question automatically made me think of persona charts….you know, how they take each one of planets and erect an entire chart for its description (you can check that out in astro.com if you haven’t already…it’s pretty cool, I think)
I’m not sure how persona charts are constructed, so I don’t know if they are created from the perspective of different planets.
However, I can’t really say what you’re describing could be used the way persona charts are. In fact, heliocentric astrology revolves around the Sun, but still refers to and describes the individual just like Western geocentric.
So, based on that, I’ll have to suppose that if those charts were ever used, they would just be an alternative choice for those who don’t agree with the use/method of Western geocentric, Sidereal or Heliocentric Astrology.
*Perhaps that software would be more useful in astronomical pursuits*
