I don’t want to go to a wi-fi spot. Is there something like an ATT&T card that I can use (and won’t cost me $ $ $ $ ) for daily internet use (probably a few hours each day)?

Check out these site.

Its a good way to identify legit hotspots.
A wifi card is expensive, first you need to purchase the card ($ 90) not to include setup fees. Plus there might be international roaming fees that may apply.
Using a Tmobile, ATT, or Verizon accounts makes sense. the reason i say that is you set it up just for that month and pay 30 dollars, instead of $ 90 for the card + setup fees and of course the fine to close your contract.

I just came across a site that sends you a laptop for free! I’m ordering mine right now, it’s a Sony VAIO and it looks really hot!
