Please advise as to tourist options for Puerto Montt. Recommended Hotels and Resturants. Thanks.

Well I’ve never been there but I know it has a lot of beautiful views,
lakes and lots of fauna.
You can also Google Pucon, it’s beautiful as well and i’ve actually been there like every December since i was 9 :p

Puerto Montt is ok (crowded and a hugh city with malls, etc)but if you want to stay in a much better place in the lake distric go to Puerto Varas and Frutillar. Hotels in Puerto Montt are a bit crowded, better stay in Puerto Varas in the Colonos del Sur hotel which is overlooking the lake Llanquihue. Frutillar is a german style town which is lovely. Go to Puerto Montt for a visit but stay in Puerto Varas (great restaurants, much closer to the lake, lovely Casino, better view, etc).
