Question by Adam H: Road trip from Manaus to Sao Paulo possible?
For Brazilians or people very familiar with travel/transportation in Brazil: is it possible to drive from Manaus in the north to Sao Paulo? I have been considering extremely long distance road trips for some point in the future and this is one of the potential routes.

NO, I am not Brazilian, I am Colombian from a city called Leticia which is right next across the amazon River from Brazil.

People here in the amazones fly choppers or simple airlines to go from place to place especially a big distance like Manaus in the heart of the amazones (which in the amazones people define as the capital of the amazones) to Sao Paulo which is almost in the South of South America.

You could drive but it could be dangerous as u could get lost in the jungle and never be found…. u would need tons of gas or diesel supplies and a 4×4 jeep so u wont get stuck somewhere iin the non-exisntent roads.

u can drive but for adventure purposes.

Hope I answered ur question.
