In Brasília you won’t find traffic as jammed as in São Paulo and drivers are not as rude as in Salvador. It’s not as dangerous as Rio de Janeiro. I love the sky here cause it’s intense blue and sometimes there are insanely beautiful sunsets. I really like that there’s trees everywhere all over the city and each month is time for a different type of tree to bloom. There are many fun waterfalls around to visit.
I really love the people here, love my friends here in Brasília and that almost every weekend one friend invites me to their house or recreation club (outdors place for people to hang out, swim, play sports, eat…) for a churrasco (Brazilian style babecue).
I really like how it’s easy to locate addresses in the center of the city because it’s all in numerical order. I like the climate here. It’s hot and dry, so you don’t feel as sticky as in northeastern Brazil. Also there are times and places where it’s cold enough to dress in elegant coats.
I really like the restaurants and specially the ice cream parlors with a great variety of flavors that include the delicious, typical and exotic fruits of Central Brazil. And they are freshly made, non-industrialized.
Partying on a boat or just riding a boat in Lake Paranoá, or just even spending some time by the Lake.
Dancing forró and many Brasilienses are great forró dancers.
Brasília is famous for it’s architecture and known also for being the capital of Brazil.

Rita’s pictures were gorgeous
When I hear Brasilia I think of how big and beautiful the city is. It’s not as busy or dangerous as Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro. I also think about how green everything gets in the summer.
I think its most famous for being a modern city that still has so much culture.
